About
The singing guitar
German jazz guitarist with a sound between jazz, funk, R&B and modern, groove-based smooth jazz — a tone the press keeps comparing to George Benson.
He picked up the guitar at seven and found jazz through Wes Montgomery's While We're Young. Studies followed with Heiner Franz, Louis Stewart and Christian Rover, graduating from the CMCN Nancy avec félicitations du jury and the ARTEZ Conservatory in the Netherlands with distinction.
He has toured Europe — including in the band of Debbie Sledge (Sister Sledge) — and given clinics for DV Mark and Ibanez. Since 2018 he has worked closely with smooth-jazz pianist Amandus, reaching #1 on the Spanish smooth-jazz charts with Balearic Moments, and in 2025 formed the trio AMB.
